Step 1 — Choose your card design

Pick the design that fits the moment — birthday, thank you, just because, or any occasion. This is the face of your Cake Mail.

Step 2 — Write your message

Tell us what you want them to read when they open the box. We print it exactly as you type it — punctuation, capitals, and all. Make it count.

Step 3 — Choose your cake & extras

Select your cake option and add any extras — candles, a sparkler, tea or coffee sachet. We pack everything into the box before it’s sealed and dispatched.

Step 4 — We handle the rest

We bake, box, and send it on its way. You get a tracking number the moment it’s dispatched. They get a knock at the door and a very good day.

No driving. No wrapping. No hoping the courier doesn’t crush it.

When you type your message, we print it onto a Cake Mail Card and place it inside the sealed Cake Card before it leaves our kitchen.

A few things to know:

  • We print exactly what you write — punctuation, capitalisation and all. Proofread before you submit.
  • The card is A5 size, printed on glossy sticker paper on the inside of the Cake Card.

Delivery

We deliver nationwide across South Africa via express courier.

Delivery time: 1–3 business days from dispatch, depending on your destination. A tracking number is sent to you as soon as your order is on its way.

Packaging

Every box is packaged specifically for transit to make sure your Cake Mail arrives in perfect condition.

Freshness

Every order is baked fresh upon confirmation. We do not hold pre-baked stock — your Cake Mail is made just for you.

Shelf Life

Our cakes stay fresh for up to 7 days. Everything is baked and dispatched on the same day to keep it as fresh as possible. Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. Best consumed ss soon as possible, the fresher the better.

Allergies

⚠️ We can’t guarantee allergen-free bakes. Our bakery handles nuts, gluten, wheat, milk, eggs, and soya — there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please consider this carefully before ordering for someone with a severe allergy.
